Last year I decided to take the #oneword2011 challenge and pick that one word that I would focus on for the next 12 months. My word was truth. It worked so well and kept me focused on my goals that I decided to try it again.
The name has changed to One Word 365, but the principle is still the same.
One word that sums up who you want to be or how you want to live or what you want to achieve by the end of 2012.
This year I choose the word RADICAL.
If you’ve been following my blog this past year then you know I’ve been making some radical changes. I don’t plan to stop anytime soon.
I decided my life was worth nothing…unless.
I am preparing to abandon the comfortable Christian life.
I’m putting my life up for sale.
I’ve been counting the cost of following Christ.
All this has been inspired by the book Radical: Taking Back Your Faith from the American Dream. The convicting and inspiring words David Platt put onto the pages of that book have led me deeper into the Scripture and caused me to desire something more in my relationship with Christ.
I’m ready to continue on my radical walk. I don’t know exactly what that will look like in the coming year, but I’m excited about the journey.
Here we go! Take part in #oneword365 today and share with the community what word will change your life in 2012.
Question: Have you signed up for the #oneword365 challenge yet? Have you thought of your word? I’d love to hear it. Leave a comment below..
