I recently went to the doctor for my checkup. I had to have a procedure done a few weeks ago because some of my incisions weren’t healing properly from my last skin removal surgery.

Everything went GREAT. Drain tube out. Stitches out. And I don’t have to go back for 3 months! Yay! But I left there frustrated. Not at the doctor, because he’s awesome, but frustrated at data.

Today I want to talk about BMI – body mass index. I specifically want to talk about why I think it’s dumb and why we need to stop using it as one of the main indicators of weight loss success or failure.
