God Loves You
He says so…
He says so…
Got this from a friend and just had to share. Enjoy…
A man in Phoenix calls his son in New York two days before Thanksgiving and says “I hate to ruin your day, but I have to tell you that your mother and I are divorcing. Forty-five years of misery is enough.”
“Pop, what are you talking about?” the son demands.
“We can’t stand the sight of each other any longer. We’re sick of each other, and I’m sick of talking about this, so you call your sister in Chicago and tell her.”
Frantic, the son calls his sister, who explodes on the phone. “Like heck they’re getting divorced,” she shouts, “I’ll take care of this.”
She calls Phoenix immediately, and screams at her father, “You are NOT getting divorced. Don’t do a single thing until I get there. I’m calling my brother back, and we’ll both be there tomorrow. Until then, don’t do a thing, DO YOU HEAR ME?” and hangs up.
The old man hangs up his phone and turns to his wife. “Okay,” he says, “they’re coming for Thanksgiving and paying their own way.”
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Almost three years ago I became familiar with the words generational curse. A friend was praying with me as I was struggling with visions of my sexual abuse as a child. Not only was I abused, but so was my mother……..

I am a runner! Sometimes I’m still baffled when I say those words. I used to weigh 330 lbs! In August I went to the New Balance store to purchase my first pair of running shoes. This was serious business to me.
Yesterday my shoe broke. I did what any girl would do: I took the shoe to my mother and asked her to super glue the bottom. She said, “Why don’t you call the store and see if they can fix it?”
“You can’t do that,” I said. “I already bought the shoes. They’re three months old. They are broke. They aren’t going to just fix them.”
So I called them. The clerk told me to bring the shoes down and they would look at them. I walked out of that store one extremely satisfied customer. I was greeted with super friendly customer service. Instead of fixing my shoe, she gave me a brand new pair! A brand new pair of shoes! And she did it with a smile.
New Balance in Branson, Missouri stands by their guarantee. I’m impressed and would certainly recommend them to anyone, whether you’re a runner or simply looking for a comfortable pair of shoes.
And yes, I called and apologized to my mama for not listening the first time. Do what your mother tells you!
Today is National Chocolate Day! Yes folks, there is such a day.
I have a floating cloud of beautiful light and dark brown colors running through my mind. I see chocolate covered peanuts and pretzels. Oh wait, there went a Snickers bar.
I see chocolate chips, Reeses Peanut Butter cups, and Butterfingers oh my!
But the best part – M&M’s.
And then…. The Calorie Queen flew by and completely popped my dream bubble. How rude!
